Bicycles everywhere!

We just finished our day...we started with the Bloemenmarkt in the morning--never have you seen more tulip bulbs in your life! It was a really nice morning and I ended up buying a unique looking 'worry stone', we decided against buying large bunches of tuplips for our room which was a good choice, but really would've been fun to have. I'm sorry I can't load pictures on but once I do (when I get home) there'll be some of us and the flowers.

We just got back from a lovely 4.5 hour bike tour around the city and outside it. We visited a place that makes cheese and wooden shoes and a windmill! Our tour guide was absolutely fantastic and from New Zealand (and yes, very cute). We had a beer with our tour group and I made friends with a guy from Texas and a pilot from New Jersey who was only in for the day. We ended up leaving with a girl we met from Australia and went shopping for a bit. We just grabbed a sandwich and have returned to our hostel for a quiet night.

Tomorrow we see the Van Gogh Museum and the Anne Frank Haus...maybe even a tour of the Heineken plant. This really didn't interest me till we saw a horse and buggy cart travelling in the city delivering barrels. (This is something I couldn't get a picture of and really wish I had)

Till tomorrow. Thanks for the comments Ida and Sue!
